RNAS Culdrose, near Helston

Culdrose Air Day is held every year at RNAS Culdrose, a naval air base near Helston in Cornwall. The event is the only time the base is open to the public and is a celebration of all kinds of aircraft, from old to very new.

During the day you can view air displays and learn more about the Royal Navy and the crews that work at the station. Culdrose has played an important part in the life of west Cornwall for many years, most importantly as a base for helicopters performing rescues from ships in danger at sea.
