The festival is mostly made up of competitions between musicians of many kinds. There are nearly 220 “classes”, each representing a different kind of music, including singing, pipe organ, hand bells, piano accordion, piano, guitar, recorders, woodwind, percussion and strings. The festival takes place at Camborne Centenary Methodist Church, one of the town’s best-known landmarks.
